GoDarija Speak uses Mixpanel analytics to help us understand how users interact with our app and improve our services. Through Mixpanel, we may collect: basic device information (device model, operating system version), app usage data (features accessed, session duration, pronunciation practice frequency), technical performance data (app version, build number). This information is collected solely to improve app functionality and user experience. For subscription management, we use RevenueCat which processes necessary purchase information. We do not collect or store personal information such as names, email addresses, or payment information directly.
Audio Data Processing
GoDarija Speak processes your voice recordings to provide pronunciation feedback and analysis. Your audio recordings are sent to our AI service providers for pronunciation analysis and are automatically deleted after 48 hours. They are not stored permanently on our servers, never shared with third parties except for the AI analysis service. We do not retain, sell, or use your voice data for any purpose other than providing you with pronunciation feedback.
Third-Party Services
GoDarija Speak integrates with the following third-party services: (1) RevenueCat for managing subscriptions - this service processes purchase transactions and subscription status; (2) Firebase Crashlytics for monitoring app stability and improving user experience - this service collects crash reports and basic device information; (3) Mixpanel for analytics - this service helps us understand app usage patterns and improve our service.
Device Permissions
GoDarija Speak requests: microphone access for recording your voice for pronunciation analysis, internet access for AI-powered pronunciation feedback, analytics and subscription management, and device information access for analytics and crash reporting. We only request permissions that are essential for providing you with pronunciation coaching and feedback.
Data Storage and Security
While we maintain a minimal data collection approach, any data collected through our third-party services is protected according to industry standards. Your voice recordings are processed securely and deleted automatically after 48 hours. We regularly review our data collection practices to ensure we only collect what is necessary for improving our service and managing subscriptions.
